Pyrenean Mastiffs (120-150 pounds) are calm, protective, and gentle, best for experienced owners with space. They’re excellent with kids but need supervision due to size. Moderate exercise (1-2 hours daily, walks) suits them; their thick coat needs weekly brushing.
Feed 5-7 cups daily of Royal Canin Giant Breed Adult Dry Dog Food, with 23% protein and glucosamine for joint health, as Mastiffs are prone to bloat. Split meals to prevent gastric issues. Best for outdoor living in cooler climates with indoor access, they’re not for apartments or hot regions.
