Plott Hounds (40-60 pounds) are loyal, courageous, and energetic, great for active owners. They’re kid-friendly but may be too robust for toddlers. High exercise (1-2 hours daily, hunting or hiking) is essential; their short coat needs minimal brushing.
Feed 2-3 cups daily of Merrick Classic Healthy Grains Adult, with 26% protein for their energy and joint health. Monitor portions to avoid obesity. Primarily outdoor dogs, they need secure yards and aren’t suited for apartments due to baying.
